The source of the death of Kasipul MP Charles Ong’ongo Were has been confirmed following a dead body on Monday, May 5, by Pathologist Dr Johansen Oduor.

Oduor revealed that the MP died of severe bleeding in the body and the failure of various joints after being shot five.
The bullets hit him in the chest, hands and spine, where at least one was stuck in his back.
Several other bullets passed through vital organs such as the heart, lungs, liver and aorta, the injuries that Oduor said could not be saved in any case.
“Were was shot a total of five times. There are two shooting injuries to the left arm, where one shot was stuck on the arm and the other came out. There are also two injuries to the left side of the chest and from the right. Oduor explained.
He confirmed that there were no other physical injuries except those of the shooting alone.
The corpse of the corpse was attended by several officials, including Homa Bay City MP Peter Kaluma, who chairs the deceased’s funeral committee.

The suspects were identified as William Imoli, Juma Ali Haikai, Douglas Wachiri Wambugu, and David Kagame.
The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) asked the court to allow detectives to detain the suspects for 30 days to complete the ongoing investigation.
In the request, the DPP also requested that every suspect be detained at a separate police station – Ruaraka, Muthaiga, Capital Hill, and Kilimani – to prevent the possibility of conspiracy or intervention of witnesses and evidence.

In another incident, a chief suspect allegedly shot at Were to Kufa was arrested along the road Thika near the United States International University (UND).
