On Sunday, May 4, the head of state escaped without being injured after the shoe was fired.

Who left the shoe to William Ruto in Migori?

In a video shooting online and appearing by TUKO.co.ke, the President is seen to handle the shoe that was directed to him, passing around his bodyguards Nusra in the head.

The unexpected incident occurred in Kehancha when Ruto had begun to give his speech, which forced him to stop for a few minutes.

Ruto temporarily interrupted his speech, which was aimed at reducing the cost of agricultural inputs for Kehancha farmers.

The presidential security force captured the perpetrators before they could escape the scene.

The president continued his speech later and ordered the police to release the suspects.

This amazing act was strongly condemned by local leaders and residents.

The women’s leader of UDABevin Bhoke, speaking to TUKO.co.ke, referred to the act as sad and inappropriate in the Kurdish community.

“On behalf of the Kurdish community, I apologize to the President for the shameful and sad event that happened,” Bhoke said.

He emphasized that Kurdish are peace -loving people, and those who have carried out the act should be dealt with legally.

UDA Youth Leader of Migori County, Byron Ogiga, agreed with him, condemning the shameful incident.

“I condemn the act with the utmost words, especially in this time when the Kurdish community wants to have their own county. Actions like this can eradicate the good that the President brought and prevented us from receiving the rest we expect,” Ogiga said.
