Ong’ongo lost his life shortly after leaving the parliament buildings, where he attended the afternoon session.

The driver of the MP was scheduled to take him from Parliament at 1:15 pm; Ongo had participated in the activities of the legal day, including receiving the 2025 financial bill.

He left the parliamentary area at 1:24 pm, then quickly passed through the shop M-money Urban to give cash.

His car later left the city center and headed to Ngong Road via Valley Road.

When he arrived at the cycle, the attackers blocked the car, one of them got out of the motorcycle and started firing arbitrarily, targeting the MP’s seat.

A day after a sad murder, officials of the Criminal Investigation Department (DCI) arrived at the scene to take important evidence.

The investigation was conducted by a special detective led by Director Martin Nyaguto.

The detectives closely followed the exact location where the MP was shot to death, with the driver and his bodyguard who survived the attack.

Authorities referred to the incident as a murderer planned very carefully, may have been carried out in military or intelligence.

Minister of Internal Security Kipchumba Murkomen He assured the public that the detective is committed to identify the details of the killings and to ensure the killers are arrested and brought before the law.

The MP had already expressed fears about his safety several months before, showing that he was aware of the existence of a conspiracy against his life.
