A second term was killed in a shooting on Wednesday evening, April 30, in the City Mortuary circuit in Nairobi.
What car did Charles Ong’ongo Were?
Nearby sources reveal that that deadly evening, the MP stopped using his car and instead used his son Toyota Crown’s car.
Knowing that there were plans to kill him, Ong’ongo felt that using his normal car would give his killers the convenience of tracking him.
In his mind, using his normal passenger’s car would be much safer.
To Luck Worse, his killers apparently had organized themselves and had already discovered the trick, so they succeeded in tracking him even in an unknown car.
How Charles Ong’ongo Were was transported to death
Ong’ongo lost his life shortly after leaving the parliament buildings, where he attended the afternoon session.
His motorcyclists attacked him in the City Mortuary circuit.
The driver of the MP was scheduled to take him from Parliament at 1:15 pm; Ongo had participated in the activities of the legal day, including receiving the 2025 financial bill.
He left the parliamentary area at 1:24 pm, then quickly passed through the shop M-money Urban to give cash.
His car later left the city center and headed to Ngong Road via Valley Road.
When he arrived at the cycle, the attackers blocked the car, one of them got out of the motorcycle and started firing arbitrarily, targeting the MP’s seat.
They escaped immediately after the incident.
The driver and security guard rushed him to the Nairobi hospital, but was declared he died when he was brought.

A day after a sad murder, officials of the Criminal Investigation Department (DCI) arrived at the scene to take important evidence.
The investigation was conducted by a special detective led by Director Martin Nyaguto.
The detectives closely followed the exact location where the MP was shot to death, with the driver and his bodyguard who survived the attack.
Authorities referred to the incident as a murderer planned very carefully, may have been carried out in military or intelligence.
Minister of Internal Security Kipchumba Murkomen He assured the public that the detective is committed to identify the details of the killings and to ensure the killers are arrested and brought before the law.
The MP had already expressed fears about his safety several months before, showing that he was aware of the existence of a conspiracy against his life.
The funeral committee met at his Karen home agreed that the funeral date would be on May 9.
