Fred Matiang’i officially joins Gachagua’s squad, Kalonzo by 2027: “Redeeming Kenya”

Has Fred Matiang’i joined the Gachagua team?

On Tuesday, April 29, the former influential interior minister joined opposition leaders who have been planning to oust the president William Ruto By 2027.

A photo of Matiang’i along with other opposition leaders, including former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka in a private session has emerged online.

Other leaders present at the meeting include former ministers Justin Muturi, Mithika Linturi and Eugene Wamalwa.

Also attended the conference is Martha Karua and former Secretary -General of the United Nations Trade and Development Agency (UNCTAD), Mukhisa Kituyi.

Confirming the meeting, Gachagua posted a picture of nine leaders, in which he officially welcomed Matiang’i, Muturi and Linturi to the opposition team.

According to Gachagua, the team is intended to liberate Kenya from the poor administration of the administration of Kenya first.

“Kenya’s liberation squad is getting bigger every day. Very soon Dr. Fred Matiang’i, Mr. JB Muturi and Mr. Mithika Linturi. You are on the right side of history,” Said Gachagua.

Through his post on X (formerly Twitter), Kalonzo also said that the former Minister of Internal Security and Muturi have officially joined the National Liberation team.

“A very good morning and soon on the trip. This is the team that will liberate Kenya,” Said Kalonzo.

Can the opposition defeat Ruto without Raila’s help?

The meeting of opposition leaders comes a few days after Gachagua showed his belief that they could oust Ruto by 2027.

Speaking to Weru TV on Sunday, April 27, Gachagua announced that the opposition does not require the help of the ODM leader Raila Odinga To defeat Ruto.

According to Gachagua, the opposition team is strong even without the support of the former Prime Minister.
