Why didn’t Michelle Obama attend Trump’s inauguration ceremony?

In an open conversation on his IMO podas, with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson, Michelle explained that her decision to refuse to attend the swearing -in ceremony did not reflect her marriage, but rather a personal choice to highlight what was best for her.

“I was actually trying to own my life and deliberately practice making a choice that was right for me,” Michelle participated, explaining that the opposition was intense as many thought of disagreeing with Barack.

Despite the pressure, he emphasized that it was important for him to break free from community expectations and to act according to his needs, which he said was very difficult to do.

The former woman also revealed that she was accustomed to high -profile events when she was at the White House so that, in order to avoid attending Trump’s inauguration ceremony, she had to be mentally prepared for not even preparing a garment.

“I mean because I get ready for any funeral or anything … so I was like, if I didn’t do this, I had to tell my team, I don’t even want to have a dress already,” He said.

Michelle emphasized that her decision was not only for her stability but also a lesson for her daughters, Malia and Sasha Obama.

He explained the importance of teaching them to limit and prioritize their own needs.

“I want them to start practicing right now to say no,” She said and emphasized that learning to say no is a muscle that requires regular exercise, especially for women who often suffer from accusations for putting themselves forward.

This disclosure comes a week after he directly handled rumors that he and Barack were heading for divorce.
