Migori: 2 believers die inside the church in Rongo, 57 others are saved

  • Police have launched an investigation after two bodies were found at St. Joseph Missions of Africa in Kochola Village, Migori
  • The first body identified by the name of Francis Muli was found inside the prayer room with a sheets with facial injuries and foam coming out of the mouth
  • 57 weak people were also rescued from the church, but refused to undergo medical evaluation and started singing religious songs

Migori: Authority is investigating a controversial event in St. Joseph Missions of Africa in Kochola village, where two believers were found dead in a confusing environment.

Police said a thorough search in the church had resulted in the rescue of 57 people who seemed weak and weak.

How were 2 Migori people found?

According to a police report that TUKO.co.ke went through, the first man identified by the name of Francis Muli, was found dead in the church in Kanyadiedo’s sub -church, Kamagambo East, Monday, April 21.

The incident was reported at 6:25 pm by Chief Assistant Abiude Rarinde, prompting a sub -county security committee – led by the deputy commissioner of county and local police to visit the scene, located about 10 kilometers north of the police station.

It was then that the police confirmed the presence of the body of Muli, a unidentified Kenyan man, lying on the floor of the prayer room inside the church.

Police noted that the body was wearing a white robe and wrapped in a gray sheets.

“After the inspection, wounds appeared on the face, and foam appeared from the mouth. The officials handled the scene and moved the body of the late Rosewood Mortuary, where a surgical examination pending,” The report said in part.

Earlier that day, another body was reported to be found from the same area.

In addition, a monitoring search conducted by police and security committee members achieved the rescue of 57 people living in the church.

The group was taken to Rongo County Hospital for medical examination, but they refused to be examined, instead they sang religious songs and caused discomfort.

Health workers advised them to be removed from the center due to the interruption. The group was later taken to the police station, where they are waiting for further instructions.

“When they insisted, health officials advised the group to be removed from the hospital as they were disturbing other patients at the center, they were taken to the center to wait for further instructions,” It said the statement.

Hillary Lang’at was discovered as he died in a vague environment at the Gate of the Chesingoro AIC church, leaving the community with surprise and sadness.
