Magnus Lumiti Anyika, 54, was allegedly killed by his wife, Olivia Shisalisa, 48, in Irenji Village, Shinyalu County, Kakamega County.

The incident occurred after Magnus returned home at night from her sister.
According to relatives of the deceased's family, led by Setsu Atenya and Rosemary Anjere, Olivia had a history of physically attacking her husband.
Sometimes, Magnus was leaving their home to avoid such suffering.
“Our baby has been enduring a lot; even when there was a time he disappeared because his wife, who is a constant drunk, was always beating him,” He said Atenya.
Magnus had even thought of moving to Mombasa for peace, since his marriage to Olivia was not quiet.

“There was a time when he went to Mombasa and stayed there for a while to calm the mind. Whenever his wife saw him, there was a quarrel,” His brother explained.
The family also revealed that Olivia had been threatening her husband's life for a while.
How did the wife kill her husband in Kakamega?
Before his death, they were separated, and one of their children asked Magnus to return home to live together as a family.
“Their daughter asked her father to return home so they could help each other as a family. For Luck Worse, he was struck by the device in the head and died, ” Said one of the family members.
The village elder, Ernest Muloki, and ten house representatives, Muhanji Alisa, arrived at the scene after being phoned by Magnus's brother. They found him lying in a pool of blood.
Local residents are now calling on the government to intervene in the issue of domestic violence, as many men in the area are reportedly abused by their wives, some even killing their husbands.
“We urge the government to intervene and reduce men's cases to be killed by their wives. We have seen many cases of men killing their wives, but now it seems the situation has changed. It is sad, and our leaders should protect men's rights as well,” One resident urged.
The local deputy chief, Harriet Sore, confirmed the incident, saying he was notified by neighbors who had heard noise.
When he arrived at the scene, he found Magnus already dead in his bed.
His head had serious wounds, and blood was spilled throughout the house.
“At 7pm, I was phoned by neighbors about the incident. When I arrived, Anika was already dead. It seems he was attacked several times in the head with a dull device,” Said Sore.
Lumiti's body was later taken to Mumumu Mission Hospital by Shinyalu police officers, where a corpse examination will be conducted.

A man is killed in Migori in pursuit of a married woman
A few days ago, a 37 -year -old man was killed in what is suspected of a romantic conflict involving a married woman.
The incident took place in the North East Kadem area, Nyatike Division, while the man, known as Kevin Ouma, confronted another man, Johnson Ochieng, at the woman's home.
The two were secretly related to the woman.
The conflict between the men was damaged and turned into violent clashes that led to Ouma's death due to sword injuries.
Ochieng also suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Migori Level Four hospital for treatment.
