The Ubwogable hitmaker and co-host of the popular Patanisho show with former Harambee Stars coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee on Radio Jambo is seeking to make a mark beyond the airwaves.

A lifelong supporter of the FKF Premier League champions, Gidi is no stranger to the Gor Mahia faithful.
His passionate support, often expressed in his signature green Gor Mahia attire, and his vocal views on the club’s management have made headlines over the years.
In 2023, he notably called on the club to institute annual visits to Kanyamwa in Nyanza, a region he described as having spiritual significance for the club, underlining his deep connection to Gor Mahia’s heritage.
Now, the Radio presenter wants to move from the terraces to the boardroom of the 21-time FKF Premier League champions.

The Secretary General seat is one of the most hotly contested positions in the upcoming elections.
Gidi will face stiff competition from incumbent Samuel Ocholla and Nick Arum, who are seeking a second term.
