The Criminal Investigation Department has called Githunguri MP Gathoni Wambui for alleged incitement of the crowd during a presidential visit William Ruto On Friday, April 4.

The MP who is a close ally of the former deputy president Rigathi Gachaguahe went to his X platform and announced that he had received a call to notify him of the call.
According to the Muumomba, he was called because the people of Githunguri, the location of his authority, were reportedly rejecting promises and false projects that were not implemented.

The MP also appeared to criticize the head of state, demanding that every promise made to Kenyans were fulfilled.
