Gambogi, Vihiga County – A sad case has left families and communities in surprise after a 23 -year -old woman allegedly killed her two children while her husband was out of her daily activities.

Francis Vudohi, a tragedy husband, told TUKO.co.ke that he left home early in the morning after breakfast.
His wife remained behind cleaning the dishes and preparing water to wash their children when he left for work.
When he returned home at eleven o'clock in the evening, he found the field of their house full of neighbors and police officers.
He looked in surprise as the police inspected his house, telling him that he could not go in because it was a criminal area.
For several hours, Vudohi waited in a state of shock, surrounded by police officers trying to understand what had happened.
“They kept asking me about my relationship with my wife, and if we had argued before I left work,” He narrated.
It was when he was brought to the police station and he received bad news that would change his life forever.
A police officer pulled him aside and informed him that his wife had killed two of their children – two years old and three months old – using an ax.
The bodies of the children were transferred to Mbale's corpse, with his wife being detained.
Survivors are overwhelmed by shock, locals offer support for Vudohi
This traumatic event has brought a great deal of shock to society, with many expressing their sadness and condemning the act as a great taboo.
Residents have called on donors and aid agencies to help Vudohi, fearing that the sadness and shock he is going through may push him into depression and depression.
At the same time, authorities have initiated a thorough investigation into the incident, with Vudohi's wife being detained by police. The reason for carrying out the act has not yet been identified.
