According to his brother, Ben Koech, Naomi and Samuel were separated but returned in the first week of March.

Koech told TUKO.co.ke that her sister and her boyfriend were living together in Naomi's house with their brother, Harrison.

About an hour and a half later, at 4:30 hours early in the morning, Samuel was seen leaving home wearing a barn, passing the same neighbor who was still on the phone with his parents.

Harrison, who works at night, returned home between twelve and at one o'clock in the morning.

When he arrived, he found Naomi lying in a casket, covered with a blanket.

Thinking his sister was resting after a long day at work, she didn't bother her.

The next morning, when he got ready to go to work, he tried to wake Naomi but realized he was still in the same situation.

Concerned, he opened the blanket and made a terrible discovery – his sister was no longer alive and had already died for several hours.

Harrison, in shock, rushed to Kabete police station to report the incident.

Meanwhile, Samuel Njoroge had disappeared – he did not return home that night or the next day, and since then he is unknown.

A body examination conducted in Chiromo's corpse revealed a terrible statement about Naomi's death.

He had a knife twice in the back of the head, he had a hammer injury on his head, he wrapped his throat with four deep fingers, and also had a broken left eye bone.

Despite these serious injuries, there were no signs of struggle or blood leakage at the scene, which raised further questions about the circumstances of his death.

What increased fears was that Samuel allegedly posted an abusive message on Facebook on Sunday, saying:

“You die to find me a prostitute.”

Later, he sent an unnamed person claiming he was involved in the murder, saying:

“I killed him because of foolishness, why did he answer me?”

Authorities followed its last known location to Githurai 45 on Monday.
