On Tuesday, April 1, President William Ruto is expected to embark on his development visit to Mount Kenya.

The newspaper reported that Ruto returned to Mount Kenya without five key political pillars that helped him win in 2022.

These are the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachaguaformer ministers Moses Kuria, Justin Muturi, Mithika Linturi, and Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro.

Surprisingly, Kuria, despite being one of Ruto's advisers on the economy, will not follow the President on his visit to Mount Kenya.

Political analyst Charles Njoroge believes that Ruto's ability to overcome political challenges in Mount Kenya without the help of the five leaders will be a major test.

“Many of them have a lot of influence and many followers, while the remaining and Ruto have no political influence,” Said Njoroge.
