Lang'ata, Kenya: A young pregnant woman identified as Dorothy Katulu has apologized to members of her party from her cell in the Lang'ata Women's Prison for abusing their KSh 200,000.

In an interviewed interview on Citu, the woman explained:
“I have been imprisoned for three years and will be out in 2026. The food here is not good,” Said Dorothy.
“I am seven months pregnant; I have no good relationship with my baby's father since I was imprisoned here. This is my first child and I will give birth here; I have nothing,” he added.
As she told her story, Dorothy expressed great concern about how she would raise her child, since she is no longer a job.
Prior to the tragedy, Faith had been doing printing work, and had done it for three years.

“I was a good worker, and it came to a time when the people of the Ndaragwa building chose me to be their treasurer. I did the job well for the first two years, but things went wrong in 2024,” Said Dorothy.

Dorothy was arrested on December 15, brought to court on December 17, and sentenced to three years' imprisonment or fined KSh 300,000.
His family could not donate the money, which made him suffer from stress and he cried every time.
“I apologize to Patrick, Tinamoli, Catherine and Gachanga. I feel bad for my baby, who will be born here,” Said Dorothy, who would be a sight after her son's father escaped.
