Ondieki Receives Money From Airtel Line
Had received KSh 32,000 for his line of Safaricom from the Airtel number that he had been mistakenly sent.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Ondieki said he was in a different feeling when he looked at his M-Pesa's remainder.
“I thought God remembered me but the sender said it was wrong, he asked me to return the money, gave me the number of the recipient who was supposed to receive the money, he asked me to send ESS, but I sent the whole amount because the cost of the transaction was not great,” He said.
Ondieki opens up about his financial issues
Ondieki noted that the money came when he was financially viable as his mother was sick and hospitalized.
He had been hospitalized for the past two months and Ondieki has been involved in paying medical bills and traveling to see him.
“His mind is not calm, he has been asking me to visit him in the hospital, but I have no fare, it has bothered him, but I have no way, my son who is in high school needs a school fee and we already have arrears, then there are bills to plan, shopping and other, it's not easy,” He said.
Is it a mistake to cut someone else's money?
Ondieki, a religious man, said his conscience would have been supplemented if he made an alternative decision.
He did not want to go against his religious beliefs because he claimed his Christian faith proudly.
“I am a newborn Christian. I could not have someone else's money. He said.
Why did Ondieki make money?
The mother of three said it was not the first time something had happened, but she had always been honest.
He said he always returns him unintentionally money as he would prefer to have a cleanest conscience than money.
“Of course I am convinced to save money but the guilt will eat me, I believe God will open the doors for me, I had a grocery store but the business was not good I had to close it, now I was cleaning people's clothes as my source of income, though I hope to open a small business soon to make money for my various needs,” He said.
