Nairobi: Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has blamed President William Ruto for Raila Odinga's request for the seat of the African Union (AUC) chairman.

Gachagua said that the former prime minister had the highest qualifications for the contested seat, citing his significant contribution to the political sphere in the country.
