Nairobi – Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino is now asking the leader of his party, ODM chief Raila Odinga, to reconsider his friendship with the Governor Johnson.

In recent days, the governor has appeared to warm to Raila, with political observers concluding that he may back the support of the veteran politician for re-election in 2027.
Babu has also indicated that he will run for the governor's seat in the next election.
The governor visited Raila at his home in the village and even accompanied him to Addis Ababa last month to attend the debate of candidates for the chairmanship of the African Union Commission (AUC).
Answering about the new friendship of the two, Babu said it was not real.
He pointed out that Sakaja had previously opposed Raila's bid for the presidency, and therefore, the candidate should know who his real supporters are.
