New revelations have emerged in the case of the murder of 29-year-old Lydia Tokesi, who his mutilated body was discovered in the forest of Gataka after disappearing for a week.

Police now believe that Orwa, the main suspect in her murder, used the same car to transport her body before leaving it near her parents' house in Rongai.
“The condition of the body was very bad. You cannot recognize it. Some of the organs were missing,” Tokesi's brother, Daniel Shikoli, told the media.
The two were in a long-term relationship that started when Tokesi was still a communications student at Moi University.
Police reports indicate that Tokesi was last seen alive at Orwa's tenement house in Rongai, where investigators suspect he was killed.
The search for Orwa continues, with officials urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
As details of the tragedy continue to emerge, Tokesi's grieving family describes her as a kind and visionary woman whose life was cut short in a brutal way.
