The man of God was reported to have fled the area after allegedly being found naked in a bedroom by a married woman.
How old is Reverend Nundwe?
Mwebantu reports that the incident sparked a criminal case that is now under the court's supervision.
According to Mendai Simasiku, an officer at the Bob Bromes police station, the woman's husband, John, reported the incident.
John informed the authorities that Nundwe (52) ran away from his house and left his car, clothes and other things.
In his testimony, Simasiku recounted the events of the evening when he received a call from his supervisor instructing him to follow up on the case.
How did John know that Nundwe is in his house?
He arrived at the scene around 7pm, accompanied by another officer, and was met by a crowd of about 30 people.
Officer Simasiku was then ushered into the house by John, who described a disturbing series of events.
The husband told how he entered his house on the day of the incident and greeted a man who was sitting on a chair in the living room.
Not knowing the stranger's identity, John entered the house and heard his wife's voice coming from the spare bedroom.
How did Bishop Nundwe run?
While running to the room, he claimed that he found his wife with Bishop Nundwe, who was undressed and lying on the bed.
The court heard that John confronted the accused, who allegedly shouted to his roommate for help.
This alleged statement caused the bedroom to leave the room under the pretense of taking the gun.
At this point, Bishop Nundwe is said to have fled the scene, leaving behind several personal items.
What did the fleeing pastor leave behind?
Officer Simasiku testified that he found a pair of black half shoes, a black belt, a black BMW hat and green pants.
They also found a striped T-shirt, blue underwear, gray shorts, car keys and a phone at the scene—belongings allegedly left behind by the pastor.
The police officer also noted a two-meter wall behind the house, which the accused is believed to have jumped in his quick escape.
The incident has left the community in awe as the young woman faces strong accusations and a scandal that threatens to ruin her name.
