Nairobi: Grief Mwalimu and his beloved wife of Machakos died in a motorcycle accident

A cloud of sadness has descended on a close-knit community following the sudden and tragic loss of a beloved teacher and his wife in a tragic road accident.

Mwalimu Ronald, a dedicated teacher at Machakos Boys High School, and his wife died after the motorcycle they were traveling in was involved in a fatal accident along Ngong Road.

According to Gusii Online Media, the couple had left early that morning, starting their journey back home to Bomoire Village in Getenga Ward, Etago Sub County.

Their route would take them through the Mai Mahiu Road, a place known to many travelers heading to western Kenya.

However, tragedy struck when a motorcycle was involved in an accident under circumstances that are still unknown.

Mwalimu Ronald died instantly at the scene, while his wife suffered serious injuries.

Good Samaritans who arrived at the scene of the accident quickly informed the relevant authorities.

Police officers responded and arranged for the rescue of the couple. The injured wife was rushed to Ngong for treatment, but despite efforts to save her, she died shortly after being brought to the hospital.

Friends, colleagues, students, and neighbors have described Mwalimu Ronald as a dedicated teacher who not only excelled in the classroom but was also a mentor and mentor to many young people.

At Machakos Boys High School, where he was teaching, the loss has been felt deeply as students and fellow teachers try to come to terms with his sudden departure.

Beyond his professional life, Mwalimu Ronald was known as a faithful husband and family man.

Together with his wife, they had built a life based on love and shared dreams that have now been tragically cut short.

The couple has left behind a young child, who now faces life without both parents.
