Majjembe, born Portifas Odipo, battled hard with fellow Amechua boxer Mbavu Destroyer, real name Ferdinand Omondi, in a much-anticipated fight ahead of fight day.
Who won between Shovels and Destroyer Ribs?
The pair had been building tension online for weeks, exchanging heated words and taunts on social media that built up the excitement before they met in an indoor venue. Kasarani.
The fight itself lived up to expectations, with both boxers making impressive WWE-like entrances before entering the ring.
Majembe looked calmer throughout the four rounds, showing control, avoiding Mbabu’s punches and landing well-planned attacks.
In the fourth round, Majembe struck the last blow that knocked Mbavu to the ground.
Although Mbavu later claimed he was hit in the stomach, which is a mistake in boxing, the referee decided otherwise and gave Majembe the victory by “technical knockout.”
He left with the Vurugu tape along with other gifts, including money from the President William Ruto.
After the fight, Mbavu was the first to talk about the result, posting a video of himself leaving the hospital in a wheelchair while claiming there was foul play.
What did Majembe say after his victory?
Later, Majembe responded via social media on Monday, April 6, sharing a video where he proudly displayed his belt while directly responding to Mbavu.
“Bridesmaid, I told you that you will kneel before me. However, I still want to thank you for showing up. I know standing in the ring with me is not an easy thing. Let it be a lesson for others who behave like you. I said you will kneel before me, and you did it,” he said.

Ps Kavaccine: “Best player of the match, congratulations! No matter what they say.”

Was the violent fight planned?
After the fight ended with a “technical knockout,” social media analyst Geoffrey Mosiria accused the organizer and comedian Oga Obinna for planning the fight.
He claimed that the fight was pre-arranged to deceive Kenyans, arrange a rematch, and generate more profits and fame.
Obinna responded to the allegations, warning Mosiria against seeking fame by naming him and warning him of the consequences of his statements.
