According to a Kenya Gazette report dated April 2, Nayianoi was sworn in as a member of the board of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Authority.

The statement, signed by the Permanent Secretary in Communications William Kabogo William Kabogo, noted that the widow will hold the position for a period of three years from April 2.

How long will Nayianoi serve as a member of the board of Technology Authority?

“Using the authority given by section 6 (2) (e) of the ICT Authority Decree 2013, the Minister of Information Technology, Communications and Digital Economy appoints Nayianoi Ntutu, to be a member of the board of the ICT Authority for a period of three years,” said Kabogo.

ICT Authority Acting Chairperson Lily Ng’ok Kirui welcomed Nayianoi on his appointment, expressing his confidence in his ability to contribute well to the team.

In a message he posted on Facebook, Kirui said he hopes to work closely with Ng’eno’s widow.

“Welcome to the ICT board, Mrs. Nayianoi. I look forward to working closely with you. I have no doubt in your ability and the contribution you will bring to the team. Together, we will carry out our common mission,” said Kirui.

What is Nayianoi’s relationship with Ntutu’s family?

TUKO.co.ke previously reported that Nayianoi comes from the famous Ntutu family and is the daughter of famous businessman Livingstone Ole Ntutu.

He also has connections with senior politicians, including Narok Governor Patrick Ntutu, who is his half-brother, and former Senator Stephen Ntutu.

Nayianoi and Ng’eno were together for about eight years, slowly building their marriage.

Ng’eno and Nayianoi got married in a high profile ceremony held on August 18, 2018, at Emurua Dikirr High School in Narok county.

The ceremony was attended by prominent politicians, including William Ruto and Raila Odingashowing its importance.
