20-year-old Sheila was found murdered a few days ago, with her boyfriend, Vincent Bett, being the main suspect in the murder.
Information shared by Inooro TV shows that the young woman met the main suspect in a bar before going to Bett’s friend’s house on March 28, 2026.

CCTV from the night of the incident shows Bett and Sheila leaving the house at 1:52pm (7:52pm), with the man seen leading the girl towards the path leading to the area where her body was found.
Sheila was already heading towards town when Bett motioned for her to take a shortcut, unaware of the danger ahead.
Bett’s friend said he was later called and told that they had been attacked, but no further details were given.
“He called me and said they had been attacked, then he hung up. I called him again and he didn’t answer, so I sent him a message asking where he is and where the girl is. He told me that he left the girl with the people who attacked them, and that he had her phone,” said Edwin, Bett’s friend.
He reported the attack the next morning at two (8am), just two hours before Sheila’s body was found.
According to the police, the investigation is ongoing with Vincent Bett being the main suspect, as he was with the deceased in his last hours.
The 20-year-old girl was a first-year student at KMTC Karatina, Nyeri County.
