Earlier, Sky shared a video of him lying in a hospital bed, with his stepfather Tash and his brother Danivictor by his side, which worried fans.
Why was Sky Victor hospitalized?
Speaking during the mid-week service in his church, Kanyari explained that his daughter was very ill but confirmed that she has now been discharged from the hospital.
However, he noted that although he has been released from the hospital, he is still physically weak and continues to recover.
“Sky fell ill and was diagnosed with a blood infection. He is very sick and has not yet reached 100 percent recovery, but I pray that he will recover in the name of Jesus,” Kanyari said.
The preacher also opened up about the emotional burden he carries, revealing the efforts he makes to help members of his church and those in need while also fulfilling his role of guardian.
In the same service, Kanyari also shared that he misses Sky’s mother very much, who was his late ex-wife, a gospel singer. Betty Bayo.
Kanyari has continued to play an important role in the lives of her children after Betty’s death. He died a few days after being diagnosed with leukemia.
Betty had a very close relationship with Sky, where they often appeared together in her YouTube content and TikTok.
