The post attracted reactions online, with netizens sharing mixed reactions to the gesture. Here are some of the comments shared:

Ogutu Kwach: “Thank you for keeping them in your heart to make them feel comfort when they are very low after the burial of their loved one. The real blow of death occurs after the burial, that is, the time when the bereaved need more friends and relatives to help them grow and be strong from the real pain of losing their loved one. Unfortunately, very few of us pay attention to this and pay attention to visit them, visit them or pay attention after the event. May God give the family of Hon Ng’eno the comfort and strength they deserve.”

Jeez Jeez: “They need that closeness to heal from loss, humanity.”

Yulitah Nasipwondi: “The reality that comes after death…is hard to deal with.”
