Previously, Fridah responded to netizens who questioned why she does not wear a wedding ring, saying people should stop interfering in her personal life.
What did Fridah Mwaka do in her wedding?
He explained that there are various reasons why someone may not wear a ring, such as losing it or having a skin allergy, and emphasized that he has chosen to keep his family life private.
Fridah also denied rumors of having a romantic relationship with Lofty Matambo, explaining that they are just close friends and colleagues.
In the TBT video, she was seen happily saying her vows as the guests cheered afterwards. Her husband also looked happy as he gave his marriage vows.
The famous journalist and her husband got married in 2019, but she has managed to keep her romantic life very secret.
“I, Fridah, give you this ring, Samuel, as a sign of my love for you. And I promise my loyalty and devotion to you until death do us part,” he said.

Fridah explained that their relationship is like that of brothers, and they are not ready to risk their strong professional and personal relationship by starting a romantic relationship.
Matambo agreed with that statement, adding that they have set clear boundaries and even ask for advice when they think of new lovers.
While Fridah continues to keep her romantic life a secret, Matambo confirmed that she has a boyfriend and hinted that she may introduce him to the public later this year.
