However, a strange incident occurred during a funeral in one village, leaving the mourners stunned and confused by what happened.
Everything was going well. They were in the final stages of the funeral, lowering the coffin into the grave, when an unexpected event occurred.
The video, shared on TikTokwent viral as viewers tried to make sense of what had happened before their eyes.
The priest leading the service stood next to the brown casket, accompanied by two priests, both dressed in their usual vestments.
The priest gives the last prayer during the funeral
To his right stood a man wearing a blue shirt and jeans, taking one last look at the casket before it was lowered.
To the left were several mourners who remained calm as they prepared to complete the funeral process.
The priest had finished his last prayer, opening the way for the coffin to be lowered, marking the end of the funeral and the final farewell.
Everything seemed ready to proceed normally, with the expectation being that the casket would be lowered in order to its final resting place.
Mourners move closer to the grave after the event
However, when the coffin was being lowered, the ropes that were holding it suddenly broke, causing it to fall into the grave.
When it fell, the casket opened, leaving shocked mourners, some with their mouths hanging open and holding their heads as they peered into the grave.
Some of them moved closer, craning their necks to see what happened and the state of the coffin after it fell.
For a short time, no one dared to take action as they tried to understand the shocking event.

The casket was not enough to fit in the grave
In another incident, violence erupted during a separate funeral where a white casket opened and failed to fit inside the grave, leaving mourners shocked.
The pallbearers tried to push it hard, but the grave was too narrow. In the process, the coffin was opened, and the body of the deceased was seen.
Despite the challenge, they continued to try to fix it, trying to repair it before proceeding with the funeral.
