“This matter is still bothering people? I am from Yimbo, a place called Got Matar. I am the son of Kachweji. Haven’t these people seen a white-skinned Luo man? When you see a white-skinned Luo man, you start saying he is from Mumbai. Your politics have a lot of things. I think it was Miguna Miguna who started the rumors due to his uncertainty. Those things are based on inheritance politics,” he said.

According to Babu, his clan lives in Got Matar, Siaya County, and he hired those who doubted him to prove it.

“You will find my father, Dominic Owino, his grave, and our house is also there. I will not explain and explain where I came from. When I was doing politics, why did they never ask where I came from? Why now and selectively? Those things are only fueled by special bloggers, who work for Gladys Wanga and Raymond Omollo,” he added.

He questioned how important his father is to those who question him, but there were more important things to think about that would help Kenyans together.

What did Grandpa say to Winnie Odinga?

In a separate report, Babu recently responded with a cryptic message after the ODM branch in Nairobi endorsed him Winnie Odinga as the fourth deputy leader of the party following the death of Raila.

He used the “dam against the sea” metaphor to warn Winnie against limiting herself to a “shrinking dam,” suggesting that she should instead align herself with a broader political vision.

This endorsement showed a change in the alliance within the party, as Winnie appeared to support the leadership of her uncle, Oburu Oginga, after Babu and others pushed in the opposite direction.

Despite being recommended for the position of General Secretary himself, Babu rejected the offer, insisting that his only interest was to become the party’s main leader.
