Mmbogo said his wife received a call from the school informing her that their daughter was very ill and was placed on oxygen. They were rushed to the hospital in Mbale, hoping to find their daughter alive.
“When we arrived at the center, there was no patient in the emergency department, and the staff were still cleaning. The doctor introduced us and said they tried as much as they could to save Adisa but they didn’t succeed,” he explained. The suffering father recalled the moment he saw his daughter’s lifeless body, an event that has left a painful mark on his life. He questioned why the school did not inform him when his daughter was ill, instead they only called me after her death. “They called me to see the dead body. I have tried to ask them what happened to my son, but I still haven’t received any answer,” said the grieving father.
Brigton Mmbogo, one of Adisa’s relatives, said that the child was not sick and was busy.
He noted that his sudden and unexplained death has shocked the family, who are now demanding answers about what really happened.
