Stella (not her real name) was invited on a dinner date by the man, not knowing that it would end with her facing the police over unpaid bills.
The beauty arrived at the luxury hotel as planned and found her date sitting in a different place from another woman.
Stella said the man claimed they had a business meeting with another woman and asked him to wait as they were finishing up.
“He didn’t suspect anything. He waited from 12 pm to 3 am while the man kept saying he would join him, repeatedly coming in,” shared his sister Stella.
While waiting, Stella ordered a drink and food worth less than KSh 5,000.

Sadly, when the bill arrived, it totaled KSh 77,300.
“The man had made multiple reservations, ordered expensive alcohol for takeout, and put everything on one tab. It turned out that two other women had also been scammed the same way,” the woman’s distraught sister said in a Facebook post.
Stella offered to pay only for the food and drinks she had ordered, but the restaurant refused and called the police.
As a result, she and another woman were arrested, while the man left, raising questions about how the hotel staff handled the situation.
