According to Daily Monitor, the problem started when the widow, Jane Nabukeera, objected to her in-laws’ decision to bury her husband in the family burial ground (natural).
Through his lawyer, Alexander Lule, he filed a case against the deceased’s brother, Mike Ssenyonjo, as well as his mother, Maria Norah Nakayiza, seeking to prevent their plan to bury Bosco in the family cemetery located in Kyalusowe Cell, Masaka.
Nabukeera told the court that she wishes to bury her husband and their children in their new house in Kaduggala-Mukungwe Cell, claiming that that is where Bosco had wanted her to be buried.
What was the original family agreement?
A day before the scheduled funeral, a dispute arose over the place of burial between the widow and her husband’s family. The judge advised the parties to go to arbitration and reach an agreement on the place of burial.
He gave the family three hours to reach an agreement, warning that if they failed, the three bodies would be put on the grave while the court continued to deal with the matter.
For luck Unfortunately, the two sides could not reach an agreement, each side insisting on its right over the businessman’s body.
According to some relatives who attended the arbitration, the widow had previously agreed to bury her children in the family land in Kaduggala-Mukungwe Cell while also respecting the wishes of the deceased’s mother to bury her son in a natural cemetery.

Since the parties could not reach a joint decision, the judge ordered the bodies to be kept at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Mission Hospital, Kitovu, until March 26.
He also allowed the family to return to court if they reach a decision before that date, so the court can review its decision.
