Baringo: Member of Parliament William Kamket lost her pregnancy, Kenyans comfort him

Baringo – The family of Tiaty Member of Parliament, William Kamket, is in mourning following the death of his 13-year-old son.

President William Ruto confirmed the death of Bill Junior Ballot, which occurred on Tuesday, March 17, and offered his sincere condolences to the bereaved family.

“We offer our sincere condolences to the Member of Parliament for Tiaty, Mr. William Kamket and his family following the loss of their beloved son, Bill Ballot Kassait Jr. It is a great pain to lose the life of a young child full of hope and potential. We are with you and we support you in this difficult period,” he wrote.

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) digital strategist, Antonellah Kakuko, also shared the news but did not reveal the reasons behind Bill Junior Ballot’s death.

Kakuko also expressed his apologies to the MP and his wife, Immaculate Kassait, who is the first Commissioner of Statistics in Kenya.

“We put it all in Your hands, O Lord. Rest in peace, Bill Junior Ballot. Your light will continue to remain in our hearts forever. May God give strength, comfort and peace to my brother-in-law, Honorable William Kamket (Member of Parliament for Tiaty), and his wife Immaculate Kassait (Statistics Commissioner), so that they can endure this great sadness. May they have the grace to mourn their beloved son and the courage to continue living in his memory. Mutyo Nyomaan Pikocho,” he wrote.

The Member of Parliament served in the National Assembly from 2004 to 2007 before being re-elected in 2017 and 2022. He was elected on the ticket of the KANU party in the last general election.
