Deya’s family hit the headlines years ago after the controversial preacher was accused of stealing five children from Mountain View in Nairobi in 2017.
What we know about Mary Deya’s death
On Sunday, March 15, Deya’s daughter, Rebecca, announced her mother’s death on social media.
He shared a photo of Mary accompanied by a serious message, reflecting on the pain of losing her mother soon after her father’s death.
Rebecca revealed that she found out about her mother’s death after calling her to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day.
“Mummy, why did you leave us hardly even a year after you lost my father, and you couldn’t stay long with us. This has hurt me so much, God help us. Mummy, I was calling you to wish you a happy Mother’s Day, only to realize that you are no longer here. Mummy, why are you gone so soon!!! Two funerals in 6 months.
Initial reports indicate that Mary was found dead in her home there Bondo. The exact cause of his death has not yet been revealed as of this post.

What happened to Bishop Gilbert Deya?
Originally TUKO.co.ke reported that Bishop Deya died in a road accident along the Kisumu-Bondo road, an incident that also left several others injured.
Information sources confirmed that his death occurred just two months after his mother died.
According to his friend, Pastor George Anyul, Deya was preparing for a gospel campaign in the city Poisonous before his sudden death.
