Allan Kipkoech was among the 11 students who fell into the sewer, but for luck unfortunately he was the only one who lost his life that day.

What plans did Allan Kipkoech have?

Others were rushed to Kapsabet Hospital for treatment and were recovering well, doctors said, while some of them have already been discharged home.

Unfortunately for the Allan family, the situation was completely different as their Eighth Grade son was no more, leaving a huge void behind him.

“He had plans to buy beans and plant them, then pay for school fees. He had told me that when he came back, we would go together to a piece of land and plant them. Unfortunately, he did not come home from school,” Maximilla Chepkoskei, Allan’s shocked mother, said with emotion.

He was remembered as an intelligent, cheerful and talented boy in sports who had big dreams despite his disability, which did not discourage him.
