Caro opens up about being raised by her grandmother
“My brother and I only knew our late grandmother as our family. We never knew our mother or father. Grandma raised us with everything she had. She gave us everything she had, even if it wasn’t enough.
He worked in the market selling vegetables so that we could get money for food and rent, but it was not enough. Sometimes he asked for food from neighbors and even strangers so that we could have food. Life was hard,” he said.
Later, Caro was taken to a rescue center, where he was able to study primary school, which gave him hope for a better life later.
He stayed there for a while until one day, after school, he returned to find the station full and had to find another place to live.
Caro has her first child as a young mother
“I couldn’t go back home because of the problems that existed. I went to live with a friend. I was still young. That’s when I fell in love with my first boyfriend. He was the one who caused me not to continue school because we loved each other so much and he would do anything so that we could live.
Later I got pregnant, and we took care of that pregnancy until the baby was delivered.
A few months after I gave birth, he started cheating on me with other women, but I didn’t really care what people were saying because I had everything I needed for food, shelter and clothing.
I had a good life. Unfortunately, it turned out that he was cheating on me. One night the child cried a lot and there was violence outside. When I went out, I found a crowd of people.
When I investigated, I found out that my boyfriend was allegedly killed by the father of the woman he had a relationship with,” he said.
Life had to go on, and Caro started looking for a job to take care of herself and her child because the only person who supported them was no longer there, and she did not want to return home.

He lived with a friend who welcomed them with a warm heart and helped them during that difficult period.
“Later I got another job, although it wasn’t very good. I found another man who was a client, and later we fell in love and started living together. We had a child together, but a few months later he left home one day and never came back. Now I had two children to raise without work and without help. I had to return home to my grandmother, who was already very weak.
When he died, I had to step up and be like a mother to my younger brother as well. It was around that time that I noticed a lump on my daughter’s neck. You continued to grow every day, and he was always in pain. I took him to the hospital, and although the doctors did not give a specific name for the disease, they said he needed surgery.
Sometimes the pain is so severe that he cannot even read. It is expensive to buy medicine and also trying to save for surgery while still finding money for rent, food and other necessities. I’m tired. I have tried everything I can and I am still trying, but I have reached the end of my ability,” he said.
