Zak Vyner: How much does the Harambee Stars defender get paid at Wrexham AFC?

Zak Vyner made his debut for his new club, Wrexham AFC, in their FA Cup fifth round tie against Chelsea on March 7.

Vyner lasted 76 minutes as his team showed a great level and forced the game to overtime after a 2-2 draw in regular time.

How much did Wrexham pay for Zax Vyner?

For Vyner, it was a step in the right direction as he continued to bond with his new teammates. It was his fourth game overall since joining them in January.

Wrexham paid around £1.5 million (KSh 260 million) to sign the 28-year-old from Bristol City. He signed a contract with the Red Dragons that runs until the end of the 2028/29 season.

How much does Zak Vyner earn at Wrexham?

According to Capology, the Kenyan defender earns £12,500 (KSh 2.2 million) every week, which makes a total of £650,000 (KSh 113 million).

“I’m over the moon. I think Wrexham’s interest and the project that’s already going well – back-to-back promotions – is something you can’t help but admire from afar and now I’m involved, I can’t wait to help,” he said when he signed.

The highest paid player at the club, according to the same website, is Welsh forward Keiffer Moore, who earns around £30,000 (KSh 5.2 million) every week.

What’s next for Vyner?

Vyner and Wrexham are on course for historic promotion to the Premier League. They currently have 57 points in sixth place, the final stage of the playoffs.

They play Hull City and Swansea in back-to-back league matches at home.
