The video was recorded during a political meeting in Endebess, where Ng’eno spoke about leadership, elections, and peaceful political competition ahead of the 2027 General Election.
During the speech, Ng’eno stressed that the 2027 election may be decided by the performance of development rather than personality politics.
He encouraged leaders to focus on delivering services to the people instead of relying on fame or public speaking skills.
“No one will be re-elected based on his looks, or if he knows how to talk a lot. You will only be voted based on the work you have done,” he said.
Ng’eno also spoke about maintaining peace during election campaigns and urged political supporters to avoid chaos.
What Ng’eno said about Ruto in the last speech
He reminded the gathering that the country was about 16 months away from the next general election and called for peaceful political competition.
Ng’eno also spoke about the President William Rutosaying that because of his record of progress, he will most likely get a second term in office.
“We have about 16 months left before the next election. I want us to vote peacefully, without chaos. We want a peaceful process. And we know, due to the good work the president has done, we will give him a second term,” he said while the crowd clapped and cheered.
The Member of Parliament also spoke about political competition in the country, saying he has no problem with politicians traveling across Kenya to campaign for votes.
He mentioned the former vice president Rigathi Gachagua to be an example of leaders who were campaigning in different areas.
“We don’t have a problem with anyone, who are walking around right now, like the former vice president or the minister of the interior, let them go and walk, there is no problem, others were entrusted with big responsibilities, show us what they have done, on the day of the election we will measure everyone according to their work,” he said.
Shortly after the speech, the helicopter that would later crash was seen hovering over the gathering, preparing to take off.
Ng’eno briefly acknowledged that the plane had started to move, but chose to finish his remarks before taking off. He also made a donation of KSh 300,000 for the event before concluding his speech.
