A cloud of sadness and shock has engulfed Chuka University following the deaths of two students known as Claire and Kelvin.

The two were reportedly in a romantic relationship, which sadly ended in tragic tragedy. Claire, who was studying for a degree in Education Science, allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death before he was later found dead.
She left a two-page letter describing the events that led to the incident, addressed to her family and Kelvin’s family.
Did the Chuka University student confess to killing his lover?
In the letter, Claire expressed her unconditional love for her family and asked them not to worry about her funeral.
He also expressed deep regret for killing Kelvin, a decision he said had made him lose hope completely.
“Oh God, I just killed her, oh God. The hardest working woman in the world is Mom, and I love her so much. I know you’ve been praying for me, but the devil took control,” reads part of his letter.
Claire claimed that killing her boyfriend was an accident, saying she was only trying to defend herself. He revealed that the couple had been facing problems for about a year and mentioned joining a cult, which he blamed for their deaths.
According to him, their life was fine until things turned around. He apologized to his parents, to Kelvin, and to himself.
“I didn’t mean to kill him. He was strangling me, and I tried to defend myself. I didn’t know it would get to this point. I’m so sorry, and I regret what I did. We were never meant to kill each other; I was meant to die alone,” he wrote.
Claire also encouraged her young colleagues and students to repent, warning of the dangers of cults. He said he was happy that he would finally get some rest.
He further revealed that he had Kelvin’s balance card and apologized to his parents and sisters, explaining that he had gone mad.
“To Kelvin’s parents, I am sorry from the bottom of my heart that your son had a demon, and to his little sister, I did not intend to harm her in this way,” he wrote.
He ended his letter by asking his father to take care of his mother, admitting that he had disappointed them and felt that he was not worthy to be called their son.
How did the MMU student die at school?
In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that a first year student at the Multimedia University, identified as Sylvia Kemunto, was found dead in the college.
Kemunto’s decomposing body was discovered in a water tank above one of the hostels, shocking the university community.
She was allegedly killed by a man believed to be her boyfriend, who initially ran away from the campus but was later found and arrested.
