After his death, Kenyans started referring to his earlier speeches. One speech in particular caught the attention of many, with some debating whether his words had a deeper meaning.

In a video that went viral, recorded while he was addressing the residents of Ollomasani on Friday, February 27, Ngeno spoke in detail about life after death.

As a preacher, he reflected on eternal life, explaining that even if life on earth seems good, there is a better place in heaven.

Using the example of Jesus in the Bible, he explained that telling the truth often comes at a cost.

In translated words:

“There is a better place than where we live. Even Jesus lived on earth for 33 years, and he spoke the truth that led him to be killed. But he said death is not the end, because he was going home.”

He continued to insist that heaven is a real place, saying Jesus would not have promised his people about that place if it did not exist.

“Jesus promised that he would return one day to take his people to go with him. He said if that place did not exist, he would not have told them. In the same way, I tell you that although this is beautiful and comfortable, there is a better place than here. I have been there and I have seen it myself. When I return, I will take you there so that where I am, you can also be there. If that place did not exist, I would not have told you. I cannot deceive you. But I assure you, there is a better place.”
