Truphena was officially recognized by Guinness World Records for completing the 72-hour tree-hugging exercise.
The 22-year-old woman held the event outside the Nyeri Governor’s office in December 2025 to advocate for the protection of native trees and promote environmental conservation.
This achievement broke his previous record of 48 hours and followed a rigorous verification process in which he submitted a lot of evidence, including videos and witness statements.
Overjoyed by the confirmation, Truphena thanked Kenyans for their support and expressed hope that his action would inspire humanity to better protect the natural world.
