Monica Nyambura’s family has broken their silence after the autopsy confirmed that the woman of Githurai 45 was killed in his house.

The results of the investigation have increased the controversy surrounding his tragic death and increased calls for justice.
Nyambura’s decomposing body was found on Friday, February 20, after neighbors reported a strong smell coming from his two-room house in Mwili area, Githurai 45.

How was Nyambura’s body discovered?
According to residents, the smell persisted despite repeated efforts to clean the area, prompting them to call the landlord.
However, despite the cleanliness exercise, the stench persisted, and it was only after the owner arrived and the house was opened that the gruesome discovery was made.
Wamaitha, one of the neighbors, recalled that Nyambura had not been seen for two days before his body was found.
The sudden silence raised questions among the neighbors who described him as someone who was going about his daily activities and was using the phone and online platforms regularly.
Neighbors also revealed that they had seen several strangers visiting Nyambura, including men.
Police have said they are looking for a suspect who is believed to have had a romantic relationship with the deceased.
It is alleged that the man visited her in her apartment shortly before her death and has now disappeared, while detectives are trying to piece together the events that led to the murder.
According to Citizen Digital, the autopsy showed that Nyambura died from blunt force trauma to the head.

When was the last time Nyambura spoke to his mother?
While the investigation continues, Nyambura’s mother, Charity Njogu, has expressed the pain of losing her daughter in such sad circumstances.
He revealed that he got the news of his daughter’s death through a friend who had received information about the incident.
Njogu said the news came as a shock, especially since he had not been in contact with Nyambura for some time.
“I had not spoken to him. This year we had not spoken,” said Njogu.

The grieving mother called on the police to speed up the investigation and ensure that the perpetrator is brought before the law.
In addition to the criminal investigation, the family is now facing the emotional and financial burden of burying Nyambura.
Njogu said they are planning to bury Nyahururu and are currently raising funds to transfer his body from City Mortuary to their home in the countryside.
The family is also faced with the difficult task of telling Nyambura’s Form 10 son about his mother’s death, a conversation that hurts their hearts.

A few days later, the family confirmed that he died after being hit by a car near Ruaraka and was identified at the mortuary.
