Why is Leny Yoro banned?
Yoro’s car was traveling at a speed of 70 miles per hour (112 kilometers per hour) in an area where drivers are required to drive at a speed not exceeding 30 miles per hour.
The BBC reports that Yoro’a’s £170,000 (KSh 29.5 million) Porsche Cayenne GTS was caught on camera in Manchester’s Withington suburb on August 28.
Defense lawyers representing the French player apologized on his behalf, saying the roads were open at the time and he was running to the railway station to pick up a friend.
“He is not responsible for removing the credit but he understands, because of the speed involved, that there is a high possibility that the court will give credit instead of penalty points. Our client would like to take this opportunity to apologize for the incident that happened when he was rushing to take a friend to the railway station,” said Yoro’s lawyer, Lisa Nevitt.
The argument did not help, as his driving license was revoked for six months. He was further ordered to pay a fine of £666 (KSh 115,000), £120 (KSh 20,800) in costs and a victim surcharge of £266 (KSh 46,100) by Crewe Magistrates’ Court.
Leny Yoro statistics

“It doesn’t look too bad, but we’re working on it at the moment, so he’s not there tonight. He’s obviously done well, Licha, for us, and it’s disappointing. But Leny came in and did really well at West Ham, so Leny is coming in, and we’ll try to move forward,” explained Carrick via the club’s website.
