Efe Efeturi and his wife welcomed their first child after almost 20 years of marriage, silencing critics who had doubts about them.
In his online message, Efeturi expressed his great joy at becoming a father:
“I don’t think I’ve ever smiled this hard! I’m forever grateful to God for allowing me to be the father of this amazing boy. I’m ready for what’s ahead and I’m looking forward to it. I’ve tried to keep this a secret for almost a year now. Tomorrow our boy will be six weeks old, and I can’t wait to see him grow up.”
It has been a difficult journey for my wife and I. We have been married for almost 20 years, and we are finally getting to raise our child (I have always wanted a child). We can’t wait to share this journey with you.”
Efeturi praised his wife after giving her the gift of a child
Efeturi also shared beautiful photos with his wife and their child, enjoying the little miracle they received.
He couldn’t hide his happiness as he held and cuddled their son, which attracted many.
He added:
“In the past 12 months, please forgive me if I canceled plans, changed schedules without much explanation, or seemed distracted and lacking focus. Now you know why. We have been through many challenges to get here, and now we are on our way out of that difficult period. I am enjoying every minute of fatherhood and I can’t wait to share these moments with my son.
My wife, who has been the star of this trip, has been exceptional. I don’t have enough space to thank everyone who supported us from start to finish.”
