However, during his sermon on Sunday, February 15, Father Emmanuel made it clear that priesthood does not take away a person’s humanity.women.

“Some young people ask me, ‘Dad, when you see women, do you have feelings?’ and I answer, ‘It’s not easy, it’s not a joke,'” he shared while the believers laughed.

He insisted that he was not a unique being without feelings.
“I am not made of wood; I also have feelings. We all struggle. We all strive, by God’s grace, to live a life that pleases Him,” he said.
Father Emmanuel explained that every human goes through an internal struggle, and the main goal of life is to live in a way that pleases God.
He emphasized that with the grace of God, it is possible to overcome trials.
“Tell yourself it’s possible. Let go of anger and lust—get them out of your life,” he encouraged the believers.
He also reminded the believers that even in the workplace they should reject disappointment and evil deeds, stressing that change is possible if a person makes a sincere decision.
Referring to Christian teachings, he said that even looking at a woman with lust or thinking in an inappropriate way is a sin.
Since the season of Lent has begun, he reminded Catholics that fasting does not only mean abstaining from food but also abstaining from all kinds of sins.
“Say to yourself, ‘God, I will not do that; I will not commit that sin.’ That is the way to live a godly life,” he concluded.
The sermon went viral online, with many praising him for his clarity and realism.
Some social media users expressed that they appreciate leaders who speak the truth, while others pondered the humor and serious message contained in the sermon.
