The President’s daughter William RutoStephanie Ruto, has donated KSh 3 million to a rehabilitation center for children in Mbiuni area, Machakos County.

He made the donation during a fundraising event held at the St. Mary’s, where he addressed the guests and explained his close relationship with child welfare issues.
In his speech, he explained that he is a children’s officer by profession, which made this goal very close to his heart.
“I am very happy to be here. When my father told me that there is a fundraiser being held in Mbiuni, he chose to tell me because I am a children’s officer by profession. I work a lot with children, and I am very happy to be here,” said Stephanie.
He also praised the area, saying the journey from Nairobi was pleasant.
“Thank you for inviting us. It is a very beautiful place. Many people say that Ukambani is dry, but on the way from Nairobi I saw that God had blessed them with rain because it was a very good trip, and I am happy to be here,” he added.
Stephanie explained that a donation of KSh 3 million had been made by her father and their family.
“I am not a politician; I don’t like to talk much. I am happy to see the children, and we will do everything we can to fund and support any help you need. This is a donation from my father and my family, not only because he is the president, but also because he is a family man and we love children. Children are our future. Thank you very much,” he said softly.
Did the youth advise George Ruto to venture into politics?
In a separate article, TUKO.co.ke reported that George Ruto he has continued to expand his influence beyond the family name, taking steps that increased his popularity especially among the youth.
He has also invested in the sports and transport sector, sponsoring cars three and running a sports academy, projects aimed at empowering young people.
As a result of these actions, he has been seen more in public compared to the past when his appearance was rare.
Recently, George organized a sports tournament called 82 Sports, where several teams competed for various prizes.
The event held at the Police Sacco Stadium attracted a large number of young people who came to support their teams.
Apart from the field, George was seen interacting with fans. In a video that went viral, a group of young people were seen cheering him on and giving him suggestions on his next step.
Although George has talked about his business goals, he has never publicly announced his intention to enter politics.
During a short conversation with the youth, they were heard singing to him:
“President, president, president, be president,” as they greeted him with their hands, which made him smile.
