Why did Babu Owino give a warning to ODM officials?

In an emotional press conference on Thursday, February 12, Babu showed that the fight for justice and protecting the party’s foundations cannot be discussed.

The young politician asked other ODM leaders to clearly announce their side, declaring that the struggle has officially begun.

“Thank you ladies and gentlemen. I want to assure you that we will fight. War has been declared, the line has been drawn. If you are on our side, you are on our side. If you are on the other side, fight there, but this will not end soon,” Grandpa announced.

Why did Babu say the removal of Sifuna is invalid?

Babu ignored the decision of the National Executive Committee (NEC) to remove Sifuna, explaining that it is against the law, and wondered how “an administration formed against the law” can remove a leader who is legally in power.

He accused the ODM leader and Siaya senator, Oburu Oginga, of violating the oath he took during the party’s 20th anniversary.

In addition, he claimed that there was a serious violation of procedures, stressing that those who took the sacred oath to protect the constitution of the party were the ones who violated the constitution.
