Mourners who had gathered around the grave for the last rites were singing dirges while pallbearers held the coffin from all sides, preparing it to be lowered to the final resting place of the deceased.
In the chilling footage, as the pallbearers placed the coffin on the pillars leading to the grave, each one began to release it, apparently under the impression that it was resting on top of him, ready to descend as mourners said their last words to the deceased.

However, when the last person released the coffin, it suddenly slid into the grave to one side, causing panic and screams.
Many struggled to understand what was happening, while others left the grave calmly, as superstition seemed to take over.
However, the voice of the Master of Ceremonies brought calm to all those who attended the funeral as he urged them to calm down, while directing the pall bearers to place the casket properly in the grave.
“Just hold on. Hold on,” he was heard saying as screams and cries came from behind the footage.
