When 27-year-old Herma Jepchoge left her village home in Nandi County for Oman, her family thought she was entering an opportunity that would help them overcome financial problems.
After three months, they live in silence, fear and unanswered questions after the sister went missing, the report of Wanjohi Gee Wa America says.
Herma had traveled to a Middle Eastern country to work as a domestic helper, intending to take care of her loved ones in Kenya.
For a while, he kept in touch with his family, assuring them that he was coping with his new job situation.

Then, suddenly, all communication stopped.
The family explains that they were later informed of a panic involving Herma and her employer, while unconfirmed reports indicate that the boss took her to the bank to exchange money.
While preparing to leave, witnesses say Herma suddenly refused to get back into the car and ran away.
Those who saw her said that she seemed mentally affected and not in her normal state.. Since that day, Herma has not been seen or heard from.
His family does not know if he was taken by the police, fled to another place, or is still in an unknown place. Every day that passes without news has increased their pain.
Now, his family is asking for help from the public, the authorities and anyone with any information to contact them.
They say they hold on to the hope that Herma is alive and can still be found, while asking for mercy and action to help bring their daughter home or at least provide answers about her fate.
