Mother and father have lost their son, Dennis Bagaka Ombwori, who was the star and hope of their family.

Where was Bagaka going?

Friends and neighbors visited their home to comfort them after the heartbreaking news of your son’s early and painful death.

The death of the young man broke many, with tears streaming down their cheeks, unable to bear the sad news.

Bagaka was among the Kenyans reported to have been killed in the country Ukraine in the ongoing war between that country and Russia.

His father emotionally recounted when his son left the country for Qatar in search of greener pastures to improve his life and that of his family.

Bagaka’s mother asks the government to intervene

“He traveled abroad to seek employment following job opportunities advertised by the Kenyan government,” John Ombwori said bitterly.

Bagaka’s mother, Esther Ombwori, could not stop the tears of pain from flowing down her face as she struggled to wipe them away.

He asked President William Samoei Ruto to help them get justice as he tried to control his great grief.

“Our president, please have mercy on us and help us,” he said while crying as he let out a painful cry that showed his sorrow for losing his son.

Where was Bagaka found dead?

The family of the deceased was surprised by how their relative, who had been promised a job in the Gulf, ended up on the battle line fighting for another nation.

“I think the government knows these agents who employ Kenyans. The government announced job opportunities, and these young people chose to try their luck. Unfortunately, when they arrived in Qatar, they were given different jobs than the ones they were promised,” a relative said.

Bagaka reportedly died along with another Kenyan in the city of Lyman in the Donetsk region, according to reports shared by the Defense Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
