Mtwapa: CCTV Shows Terrifying Scene of Businessman Being Troubled by Bandits 8:30am

Terrifying CCTV images have shown the moment when a businessman from Mtwapa met a gang of thugs who attacked his shop around 2:30am.

In the horrifying picture, a man who runs a 24-hour shop was doing his work in a coastal town when suddenly, he saw a gang of armed robbers approaching his shop.

The photo showed that at about 2:28am, the man, unaware of the danger that befell him, was serving two members of the gang who pretended to be customers. Suddenly, they turned to their companions when they arrived and tried to open the small door leading to the shop.

The businessman ran to try to close the main door of the shop while screaming helplessly, hoping to alert the locals.

More than 5 men quickly overpowered him, and with them were weapons such as swords and daggers.

“Open! Open!” they said before ordering him to lie down.

They quickly ransacked the store and cash box, taking all the money and demanding to know if there was more.

“Where’s all the other money?” they asked the seller who seemed to be shaking.

Other robbers also stole goods from the store, while one was seen taking diapers.

Some beat up the seller, wanting to know if he had more money to steal. He sustained injuries in the incident.

Kenyans sympathize with the Mtwapa shopkeeper

Many Kenyans have sympathized with him, while others wanted a quick investigation to arrest the robbers, as some of their faces were seen on CCTV.

In other news, the taxi driver of Eldoret he was also recently almost robbed after an encounter with robbers at 4 am.

The driver had turned into a deserted road when the thugs on a motorcycle were seen following him, ready to attack him.

However, the driver’s quick maneuvering enabled him to escape the trap and he sped away.
