The TikToker shared a video lamenting how he was about to close his business after running out of customers at the restaurant.

A day after the video went viral, Kenyans flocked to Tule Kienyeji’s restaurant trying to save his business. Among those who showed up was Nakuru senator Susan Kihika.

Akinyi, in an interview with Radio Jambo, claimed that politicians who visited his restaurant did not give him money.

He also told how they had wealth since childhood, but the family lost it after his grandmother and mother died. He also revealed that he was raised by his grandfather.

Did the Nakuru business woman invest in her restaurant?

After her death, Akinyi’s father stepped in to take over parental responsibilities, but he also had a white couple helping him.

He revealed that at one time, he was placed in an orphanage, which was one of the reasons he was questioning God about the pain he went through.

“My happiness and success have been very small. My father had to pick up the ball from where the whites (donors who were taking care of him) left. He sent me to university from there I had to rely on myself. I had about KSh 203,000. To convince a white man that you need help, you must be in a position where you need help and receipts. That took longer than I expected, in fact, it went through three years ago,” he said.

According to her, the woman who was helping her died, and her husband took a whole year to mourn, putting the projects on hold.

“He has been there the whole time, and unfortunately, his wife’s best friend also died. Things got stuck again. I was sending him the receipt and told him to look at this father, we thank God. He would call me when I was on the way and pray with me, until things went like this again. I started asking God why it feels like when I’m about to break, pain comes and breaks,” he added.

When asked how much he invested in the restaurant business, he lamented how he lost a lot of money and has yet to make a profit.

“I tried to call friends to find loans, find a partner to choose things, but nothing worked. That’s when my heart broke into pieces. I had invested KSh 2.3m, and it sank,” he said further.
